മുസ്‌ലിംകളുടെ എണ്ണം വര്‍ദ്ധിക്കുന്നതില്‍ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിക്കു എന്നാണിത്ര അസഹിഷ്ണുത, പോപ്പുലര്‍ ഫ്രണ്ട് വിചാരിച്ചാലും ഇല്ലെങ്കിലും രാജ്യത്തെ മുഴുവന്‍ ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്കും ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട മതം സ്വയം ഇഷ്ടപ്രകാരം സ്വീകരിക്കാനുള്ള അവകാശമുണ്ട്. അതില്‍ കമ്മ്യൂണിസ്റ്റ്കാര്‍ എന്തിനാണിത്ര പേടിക്കുന്നത്. മതം എന്നാല്‍ ആചാരങ്ങളുടെ സാകല്യമല്ല. വിശ്വാസമാണു. നിര്‍ബ്ബന്ധപൂര്‍‌വ്വം ഒരാളുടെ വിശ്വാസത്തെ സ്വാധീനിക്കാനാവുമെന്നു ബുദ്ധിയുള്ളവര്‍ ആരും കരുതുകയില്ല. രാജ്യത്തേ പല സ്റ്റേറ്റുകളും ഹിന്ദു ഭൂരിപക്ഷ പ്രദേശമായതില്‍ ആര്‍ക്കെങ്കിലും കുണ്ഠിതമുണ്ടാവുകയില്ല. അതില്‍ ഒരപകടവുമില്ല. മതഭ്രാന്ത് മാത്രമാണു എപ്പോഴും പ്രശ്നങ്ങള്‍ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചത്. ലൗ ജിഹാദ് ആരോപിച്ച് അലമുറയിട്ട സംഘ് പരിവാറും അത് വായ് തൊടാതെ വിഴുങ്ങാന്‍ ശ്രമിച്ച കോടതിയും തെളിവിന്റെ തരിമ്പും കിട്ടാതെ വന്നപ്പോള്‍ ആ പാഴ്പ്രചാരത്തിനു ഉപയോഗിച്ച പേനയും കുന്തവും അണ്ണാക്കിലിട്ടു ചര്‍ദ്ദിച്ചത് നാം കണ്ടതാണു. ആ ചര്‍ദ്ദിച്ചതാണു ഇദ്ദേഹം വീണ്ടും എടുത്തു നീട്ടുന്നത്. പിന്നെ മുസ്‌ലിംകള്‍ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങള്‍ക്കു ജന്മം നല്‍കുന്നതില്‍ വിഷമിച്ചിട്ടു കാര്യമില്ല. അത് പ്രകൃതി നല്‍കിയ ഔദാര്യമാണു. അതിനെ സന്തോഷത്തോടെയാണു ഏതു മനുഷ്യസ്നേഹിയും നോക്കിക്കാണുക. മതങ്ങളല്ല, പ്രത്യുത, രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരാണു മനുഷ്യരെ കൊന്നൊടുക്കിയത്. സ്വന്തം നാട്ടില്‍ നിന്നു പോലും തച്ചുടച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന സ്റ്റാലിന്റെ പ്രതിമയോടു ചോദിച്ചാല്‍ അറിയാം ഇതൊക്കെ. അധികാരങ്ങള്‍ക്കു വേണ്ടിയുള്ള പോരാട്ടവും രക്തസാക്ഷിത്വവും പുണ്യമായിക്കണ്ടു കൊണ്ട് ബോമ്പുരാഷ്ട്രീയം അഭിമാനത്തോടെ കൊണ്ടു നടക്കുന്ന മാര്‍കിസ്റ്റുകള്‍ക്കു സ്നേഹം, സാഹോദര്യം എന്നതൊക്കെ അരോചകങ്ങളായിരിക്കമെന്നതില്‍ സംശയമില്ല. അക്രമം അത് കൂട്ടമായി ചെയ്യുമ്പോഴും രഹസ്യമായി ചെയ്യുമ്പോഴും നാസ്തികര്‍ക്കു കുഴപ്പമില്ല. എന്നാല്‍ ഇരുളിന്റെ മറവിലും നിന്റെ തിന്മകള്‍ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കണ്ണൂകള്‍ പിന്തുടരുന്നുണ്ടെന്നു പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്ന മതവും ഭക്തിയുമാണു ലോകത്തെ നിലനിര്‍ത്തുന്നത്. അബലര്‍ക്കും അശണര്‍ക്കും ദാനവും കാരുണ്യവും കൊണ്ടനുഗ്രഹിക്കണമെന്നു പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്ന മത പ്രസ്ഥാനങ്ങളാണു കേരളത്തിലെ ആയിരക്കണക്കായ അനാഥാലയങ്ങള്‍ നടത്തുന്നത്. ഇന്ത്യയെന്ന മഹാരാജ്യത്ത് ആര്‍ക്കെങ്കിലും തന്റെ എതിര്‍‌വിഭാഗത്തെ തുടച്ചു നീക്കാന്‍ കഴിയുമെന്നോ വിശ്വസിക്കാന്‍ മാത്രം മണ്ടന്മാരല്ല ഇവിടുത്തെ ജനങ്ങള്‍. അതു കൊണ്ടു നാസ്തികനായ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി മുസ്‌ലിംകളെ കുറിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു ഹിന്ദുക്കളെ ഇളക്കിവിടാന്‍, പരസ്പരം പോരടിപ്പിക്കാന് നടത്തുന്ന ശ്രമങ്ങള്‍ വിലപ്പോവില്ല. മലപ്പുറത്തെ കുട്ടികള്‍ കോപ്പിയടിച്ചാണു മാര്‍ക്കു വാങ്ങുന്നതെന്നും ന്യൂനപക്ഷങ്ങള്‍ അവിഹിതമായി പലതും നേടിയെന്നുമുള്ള പ്രസ്താവന അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ തന്നെ നാവിലൂടെയാണു പുറത്തു വന്നത്. വിവാദങ്ങള്‍ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചും പ്രകോപിപ്പിച്ചും ഇരകളെ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രവണത നല്ലതല്ല. കേരളത്തിലെ സമുദായങ്ങള്‍ പ്രബുദ്ധരാണു, സംസ്കാര സ്മ്പന്നരാണു. അവര്‍ ഉപജീവനത്തിനും അതിജീവനത്തിനും വേണ്ടിയുള്ള ജോലിയില്‍ മുഴുകട്ടേ, വിവാദങ്ങള്‍ അവരുടെ സമയങ്ങള്‍ കവര്‍ന്നെടുത്തു കൂടാ, അതു കൊണ്ടു ബഹു മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി വായ് അടച്ചു വെക്കുകയാണു നല്ലത്. അതാണു കേരളത്തിന്റെ സമഗ്ര പുരോഗതിക്കു മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിക്കു ചെയ്യാന്‍ കഴിയുന്ന ഏറ്റവും വലിയ സേവനം.
അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ ഇതു തുടര്‍ന്നാല്‍ കേരള ജനത താങ്കളുടെ മുണ്ടയിച്ചു നോക്കും, കാവി ട്രൗസറാണോ അങ്ങ് അണിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നത് എന്നു..

The role of parties in Religious extremism is a subject to be discussed about for curbing this grave phenomena in the minds of youngsters. For tackling the issuewe can assume the following:

1. both Muslin league and PDP are political parties whose ultimate aim is to come in to the power just like any other party established in India or elsewhere.

2. Both of them are mainly focusing on the vote bank of Muslim and backward community in Kerala.

3. Both entered in a rivalry-like competition from PDP’s very birth time. One will flourish where the other go weak.

So, the allegation of Muslim league against Maadani involving in antisocial activities is politically motivated rather than realistic, though it has a big role in fuelling in extremist thoughts of couple of weak minded men which led them to go ahead with terrorist activities. He abandoned fully the hard line policy followed by Maadani in his Pre jail time, and he explicitly proclaimed his new stand after his release.

And Maadani also wanted to survive in the political arena, so he continued his anti league propaganda and tried to appease the left parties in kerala for a berth in LDF. He had to prove his mass support from minority community, therefore he used the policy of sensation rather a plan of wisdom.

The” Thadiyantavide Nazeer” factor played a pivotal role in this row. Muslim league utilized this issue to prove their stand against extremist line, and to justify their past moderate line which was much criticized vastly by the community especially in the Post babri demolition time.

The same Nazeer factor made Maadani defensive, and tried to cover up their previous extremist speeches which made very few number of “Nazeers” birth though it was a big blow in the heart of community.

More importantly, what is the real cause behind the Nazeerism.? Only Maadani ? Never. Every body has his share in this blood.

Firstly, Parivar family, who made Gujarat, Babri etc.

Secondly, Congress like main parties, who couldn’t curb the Hindu religious fanatics, fearing the leakage in the less educated mass Hindu population as well as its withdrawal from the non alienation movement front to join in the US led coalition.

Thirdly, Kerala CPM & Jamaath, who used international issues like war against terror for a woe the vote of Muslims, which has actually least role in the Kerala community. Jaamath Islamy, an organization of international characteristics supported CPM for its anti-colonial movement which has less important in common life of Indian Muslims. These trio comprised of CPM, Jamaath and PDP elements created unnecessarily a feeling of insecurity in the minds of Muslims. It is evident that a vast majority of Muslims of India as a whole feel unsecure for lack of long sited leadership, which is irrelevant in the Kerala sphere.

Fourthly, Muslim league who failed in reading the minds of Muslim community in post babri time and act vigorously for solace in grief stricken minority duly. IUML was not ready to give up coalition with the congress even for a while to show its solidarity for the community. This reluctance was interpreted by its foes as IUML’s greed to clinch on the power and PDP like extremist element could divide the community into the uncertainty and pessimism as well as to expose IUML’s internal decay and immoral activities before the mass people, though it was very common in all parties, to which lost its election and later it raised to the occasion and admitted that it had learned its lesson.

In brief, Every party has its share in breeding and growing the extremism up in Kerala for its double-faced stances or inability to act realistic.

But, as for a Respectable community, it is imperative that its has no progress in thinking counter productive or accuse each other for its pathetic condition. The social empowerment is achieved only by education and poverty eradication. The energy exhausted by accusing and tarnishing each Muslim parties supposedly for mobilizing in future plan for a better existence.

CPM uses this vulnerable and sensitive issues for devastate the stability and confidence of community ( E.g. Issue of Saddam’s execution ) and divide them and earn a small portion of votes by it.

Moderate in criticism and continuous self assessment in each parties should be well practiced for well being of the community. All parties in the community established for or Respect the opponent.

Every body has to understand that nobody can uproot his opponent with sharp tongues rather, it gather energy through it. finally, it is not a fight between ultimate truth and evil, but between relative truths. We have a lot to learn from the Christian parties and Christian leaders in all parties as they use less energy to fight each other, focus on productive activities in favour of concerned community. Even Left front had worked hard to correct the stance of congress in international and human right issues in previous UPA govt. Any party can attract the people by its creative interference in political course of India. Not by using a policy of violence and hatred.

The new PDP is no more preaching or practicing terrorism and Nazeer phenomena is because of deviation in islamic path and cannot be translated to be a trend in whole community. But mainstream papers made propaganda just for their commercial interests and policy of sensationalism which League used to slap on face of ideological enemy. Maadani was never made symbol of community even though he tries to make the things religious, that is his politics. Maadani, who frequently refutes his involvement in terrorist activities as well as his supporting political outfits like CPM have a huge responsibility of proving their innocence in contaminating the younger generation the extremist ideologies and pulling them to the depth of pessimism about the country. This negative thinking and injecting such lessons in the immature generation sometimes produces depression and mass hysteria in the people. This is the root course for such antisocial activities. So we need to work hard for maintaining peace and confidence in the mind of people. So let the treatment start from minds.

Here, religious leaders can Do much for this. A good believer never go sad about difficulties, rather it strengthen the belief in the great mercy of Allah. We can absorb such lessons from Old sufi men who made the hurdles  way of worship and attained great grades in the greatness with Allah. An islam without thasavuf is body without sprit.

A Bachelor With His Kids

It was apparently midnight, just I fell in to sleep I got a miscall rung in my phone, that waked me up . I guessed it might be my better half’s. definitely it was hers. When I called her back, she started to talk me, but I noticed only the sounds of my younger boy who murmur sitting in the lap of his ma. He begs to her saying, “ tell, ma , to come tonight it self.” 3 year old boy in his tender voice requested to me repeatedly to fly back to him. Whenever he asks the same, I tried to divert the subject enquiring to him what kind of toys he needed. Now he feels fed up with such hollow offers. He does not believe in formalities. Some times he declaim to receive my calls arguing that he had talked every thing to me. Once he asked me to come there at night, I replied it is dark now, so I cannot. Then he asked to come early next morning. I put the excuses forward for my inability to have trip to there saying ‘ I cannot travel without air ticket, boy. I have no money to purchase a flight ticked right now, so I will be there within a few weeks, ok ?. ‘ he told me, No, baba, you come by walk, please.” It was his style. He left no room for any excuse for me.

One year long life together with him in Sharjah city made him closer to me. Now he feel s bitter without me. As he first reach to me around two year back, landing the flight in the airport, he perplexed why I was not there inside the port, when they came out ,the anxiety inside him increased to double missing outside also. Unfortunately, I was not able to present that dream time in that place to receive him and my other family members. Nobody, even my better half, could not be convinced the reason behind my absence there. But the work place situation in the gulf countries so bitterly hard to be suffered for an average man in the world. So mechanical and pathetic is the daily life of an employee. The parents got no option of parenting and child care for stipulated time schedule of works. Terms like Baby sitting, play school etc added into the normal life of expats.

My friend keeps in his memory of a cohabitant man who was sitting in the balcony puffing out a cigarette in late hours of one night. The friend enquired to him why Is he not going to sleep. He went on the job thoughtfully. This made my friend to insist on realizing the reason. After repeated persuasion he replied: tomorrow is the day of my daughter’s wedding. I could not take part to the function. But I hardly managed to send the money because I am here. He has been working here for around two decades for weave a better life to his family, a bachelor life. The word bachelor is misnomer used for every married man lives apart from his family, may it old enough to quit job and pack to home land. Each time they have a journey to their home land they make honey moons with their beloveds. Many workers cannot go for leave for more than expected for fiscal issues. Normally people have only a role of financial minister of the family. So they would be forced to postpone their vacation trip may times for budget deficit. It would be better to narrate one expats bitterest experience in life. When he entered home to make the ambitious event of get together with the family his son, who had only the acquaintance with the photos in side the home, felt unfamiliar with him. He started crying that night saying some outsider has dwelling in my bed room, so the ‘outsider’ should be evicted instantly. It took weeks to win a friendship with his son. The father for each child in the home is visitor arrived with sweets and toys for children. All expat worker here dreams a journey to their family and begins to search for dress and households which he surprised.

On an evening walk in the city streets of Sharjah, I was looking for a slipper with a crowded peddler , one man took a pair of tiny slipper and extended to my wife enquiring to her whether it is fit for 4 year old girl. At first this rouse the perplex in her and finally she realized inability of man for guessing the size of foot of his pretty daughter to whom he had bid farewell before 2 or more years.

But it is vey usual scene that every man roam around the city shopping malls for purchase dream things for their beloved family members. And the children count the days for falling the day of their dad’s arrival.

Since then, verses of the Quran in Arabic script have appeared -- and then faded away -- on the infant's back, arms, leg and stomach, his parents and local officials say.
"Normally those signs appear twice a week -- on Mondays and on the nights between Thursdays and Fridays," Ali's mother was quoted as saying.
She said that Ali's temperature typically rises before the writings appear.
The parents deny the words, which look like raised pink birthmarks, were inked on. Local doctors have not been able to explain the phenomenon.
Meanwhile, around 2,000 people per day have been traveling to the family's home in Kizlyar in Dagestan. One woman said she had come all the way from Ukraine to see the baby.
The Russian republic, located in the North Caucasus on the border of Chechnya, has been plagued by violence as security forces clash with militant Islamic separatists.

Duty toward your Creator

Nobody would expect and call for the justice from this illegitimate regime in this regard as the entire world know well its stance toward all humanitarian issues of children and ailed people in the war torn area of Palestine. Striking the refugee camps and hunting children are habit and hobby of this jewish army in illegally possessed land. the international muslim community very frequently called for stopping such moves, but all that moves were in vein. This makes the muslim world more responsible toward doing anything creative to save their sacred mosque.
Do we muslims need consent or call from the super powers for hold democratic agitations and peaceful processions as part of their religious duty toward the almighty Allah ? Why should we expect any sympathy and support from anybody for fulfilling our religious duty? Or how long can we wait for any initiative from those who throng on throne of Arab countries which got from their ancestors ? The enemy always tried to make us busy on our internal issues and to implement their agenda among us.

With the sad demise of syed Muhammad ali Shihab Thangal, Kerala is for ever in loss of a cute leadership of consensus of political and social as well as religious differences, obstacles in front of the journey of normal Malayali life. What was he, actually. Which peculiarity served him for having a towering personality? Some characteristics which was widely admitted and attributed to him is his devotion to the peacefulness, the respect to the opposition, heeding to the claims of the other side, moderation in talk and in reactions, above all the intense love to the well being of the people.
He donated the solace to the grief- stricken poor., he married the love of fellows and followers, he patted the kindness to all who approached him, judged the truth in the disputes, he wore the smile of shield against his foes. But in his blessed presents the border line of friend and foes melted away and the flame of hatred faded away.
A charismatic personality within a society is a godly bless to them saving them from differences and disputes within. The frustrations and fractional fractures rouse every now and then within the society of Kerala were, thus, dealt with a healing touch of love and passion. Those disappointed with the dried realities of life, and deserted in the burning sun of inability sought the shadows of that giant tree stretched its goodies all over the state.

Thus the darkness of gloomy nights fades away, giving space for a radiance of solace from this Shihab ( flame of Guidance ). May Allah shower His mercy upon him.

Dowry , A Curse of The Community

The news coming daily on dowry frauds following marriage functions should be an eye-opening fact to our society from the inaction towards the ill treat to the marriage issues of community. The trained robbers in disguise of grooms intruded in to the our community from outside to squeeze the money and chastity of poor brides who dream over years to marital life with their life partners. These grooms who manage to marry the poor girls and steal the money and jewelry from the house of brides actually win the game with a great help of the brokers and manipulated relatives chartered for the function against a big amount from the groom.
This reveals to the fact that the community it self sees the issue with no serious and support such filthy cheatings. The fate of such cases also would be in oblivion with a mercy extended by the police. The first and prime accused in these cases are the parents of the brides as well as the Mahallu leaders. We are accustomed to make affair with any young ones coming forward irrespective of their family status and native place. This proves that the very marriage also became a mere deal for money after which the client would be irresponsible to it. The marriage functions also a good chance for flourish the business of traders and gold merchants.
A huge money saved in entire life meant for a livelihood would be elapsed and squandered off for such functions owing to the ill practices prevailed in the community for centuries. Towards Your Real Friend

The moment I pated upon Ranjith's body, our office boy, after having an ablution for the prayer, he exclaimed whether I became impure and unable to offer my prayer by touching his hand. He is our friend for years in our office, a proud Hindu, having a heart of eagerness to learn much more about the culture and beliefs of others in the soil of Emirates.

Every day he approaches me with a bundle of doubts meant to be cleared by me, for which I spent more than half an hour daily like an Orator, causing others to mocking me as a “Professor”. That is why he dared to express his anxiety in front of me not going to other co-workers of the office which retains an Islamic environment all over the corners of the office. Every day we offer the Asr prayer in one angle of the office in group. Nothing of these washed out him from having such unrealistic misconceptions about Islam.

For these years, whenever we enter to the toilet prior to the prayer, he thought that this ablutions is a cleansing process from the impurity left by touching other castes or religions of people. We cannot blame him on his beliefs about us as he was born and brought up in such environments of Karnataka, caste apartheid afflicted area of remote villages of India.

In Hindu belief, bathing has a significant role in the prayer procedures and it is mandatory for upper caste people to take a bath before entering to their homes after having trout or shopping out in the town. Yes, he also a victim of such misconceptions about Islam which caused by their own long rooted stubborn beliefs.

As a member of Islamic community, I was much proud of helping others attain them the right path of Islam, As of now I feel much hurt my self for falling short of enough service for the sake of Allah, who bestowed upon me with the guide of Huda by enabling me to born in a practicing Muslim family. The psychologists confirms that the environment in which a child is grown up has a significant role in deciding one’s cultural fate. It is the nature and character of our family members form your habits and beliefs. This fact uncover the mercy which depicted in our personality by Allah and it compels me to do much for His sake.

When our Ranjith looked doubtfully at me, I tried to give him a clear picture of equality instructed by Islam to the mankind. As I told him when you are going to offer a prayer next to the imam inside the mosque nothing will prevent you so if you are a believer and the sheikh reached later will be at rear of you in the line of prayer in the mosque, the wonder in the face of him hasn’t gone away.

Most of the idol worshipping Hindus, still thinks that the prayer offered by Muslims to the direction of Kaaba in Makkah is also an idol in some sense, I recall a query by friend, whether the black stone to which we offer ‘hounor’ is the Kaaba itself. He thought the Kaaba, a cube in form, ornamented with black cloth is the black stone which is kissed the believers and much referred in the Haj pilgrimage, and so Muslims also not free from stone worshipping.

The misconceptions are not ending. But the responsibility upon every Muslim to convey the real face of Islam to the fellow working non-muslim friends is high and huge and cannot be forgotten if we are real friends of them. wish for others what you wish for yourself as our Prophet said, peace be upon him.
